My name is RC, I am 12 and I love expressing my deep passion for art and my aspirations to further develop my skills as an artist. Art has been an integral part of my life for as long as I can remember, beginning with drawing as a young child and free-handing characters like Ninja Turtles and FNAF by first grade. When I moved from Florida to New York in fourth grade, my sketchbook became a significant source of comfort and expression.

     In 2024, fifth grade, I had the incredible opportunity to have my first artist alley table at a convention. Despite being new to the experience, I successfully sold all of my canvas paintings. A particularly memorable moment was seeing a girl my age light up with joy after purchasing my Kuro-Sensei painting. Since then, I have been invited back as a regular at that convention and have also received invitations to participate in other events along the East Coast. Now in sixth grade, my dedication to art continues to grow, and I find myself filling two to three sketchbooks each month with new creations.

     My primary goal is to use my art to raise funds for several key endeavors. Specifically, I am aiming to pay for summer pre-college classes at the prestigious Parsons School of Design in New York City, attend larger conventions to expand my reach and experience, and consistently afford the necessary sketchbooks and supplies to continue my creative work.
